Oregonians for Science and Reason (O4SR) O4SR is a nonprofit corporation formed to promote science and reason. We seek to develop rational thought and action through the application of scientific methods and critical thinking. Activities Educate through outreach activities and free public lectures.  O4SR Blog to announce and inform.  Video events on our YouTube channel.  Social events for members. Investigate testable pseudoscientific and paranormal claims. Serve as a skeptical scientific resource for local/regional media. Promoting science and the scientific method. Benefits of Membership We welcome your help to continue O4SR's efforts to promote science and reason. We also can use your time and talents; some volunteer needs and suggestions are on the membership page. Annual membership with Oregonians for Science and Reason is free to anybody in Oregon and surrounding regions.  Donations are more than acceptable, and tax-deductible in accordance with IRS regulations. Lectures, gatherings, and other events are free and open to the public. Please join us.
