O4SR has been invited to join the Salem Humanist for a program on The da
Vinci Girls, a science education program for young girls. Mark your
calendar.
A representative from the YWCA in Salem will discuss the da Vinci Girls
Program, an after-school science, math and technology program for 3rd to
5th grade girls. The program is sponsored by the YWCA and A.C.
Gilbert's Discovery Village in Salem and features hands-on learning
activities.

Community Conversations is sponsored by U of O Academic Initiatives, the Robert D. Clark Honors College, Oregon Humanities Center, and undergraduate Studies. This series is intended to stimulate intellectual curiosity, critical thinking, and experiential learning among undergraduate resident hall
students. The Community Conversation panel discussions are committed to extending the academic enterprise outside the classroom and foster
student interaction with faculty, community leaders and organizations such as O4SR.
